Our STORY
A Journey Through Craft & Culture
Our Story
Your vision deserves more than ordinary design — it deserves craftsmanship that tells a story. At Elan Atelier, we transform ideas into bespoke furniture, custom lighting, and objets d’art that are as distinctive and enduring as the spaces they inhabit.
Founded in 1997 by designer Christopher Noto, our atelier has evolved from Pagoda House to Elan Atelier — a name synonymous with exceptional quality and timeless elegance. With studios in Paris and New York and decades of experience across Southeast Asia, Europe, and the United States, we bring you a truly global perspective and a seamless design experience wherever you are.
Our work reflects the synergy between East and West, blending refined materials, cultural influences, and artisanal techniques. Collaborations with leading brands, architects, and designers — including Jaya Ibrahim, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Muse Design, Four Seasons, and Aman — have shaped our approach and strengthened our ability to deliver world-class results for private clients, collectors, and design professionals.
Our Vision
We believe that luxury should be personal, purposeful, and enduring. Our vision is to bridge the worlds of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design, offering a slower, more thoughtful form of luxury.
Every piece we create is designed with integrity — balancing artistry with function and innovation with heritage. By preserving time-honored techniques while exploring new materials and ideas, we deliver designs that are both timeless and forward-thinking.
Our goal is simple: to help you create spaces that inspire, elevate, and reflect who you are. Whether it’s a single statement piece or an entire interior, we approach every project with passion, precision, and a deep respect for the craft — so that what we create with you today will be cherished for generations.
